The Stockton Chorale started in 1951 as a double quartet under the direction of our founder, Arthur Holton II. Look how we’ve grown! We have a special season planned to commemorate this achievement. While more details will certainly be coming, here’s a preview and a chance to “Save the Date” for concerts you won’t want to miss.

Fall Concert

October 17, 2026, 7 pm, at Central United Methodist Church in Stockton

“75 Years of Inspiring Joy”

This concert will feature treasured repertoire from the 75 years of the Chorale’s history and honor past Artistic Directors who will return to lead the Chorale in some of this repertoire.

Winter Concert

December 12, 2026, 7 pm in Stockton

December 13, 2026, 4:00 pm in Lodi

This concert will feature a selection of seasonally appropriate music from canonical and non-canonical composers in a variety of styles.

Classicworks Concert

March 14, 2027, 4 pm in Stockton

This concert will feature José Mauricio Nuñes Garcia’s Missa Pastoril and the world premiere of Kile Smith’s From the Ends of the Earth, written to honor our Diamond Anniversary Season, with guest orchestra and soloists.

Spring Pops Concert

May 15, 2027, 7 pm in Stockton

May 16, 2027, 4:00 pm in Lodi

This concert will feature beloved choruses and arias from a selection of Gilbert and Sullivan operas including HMS Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance, Iolanthe, The Mikado, and The Gondoliers.
