Master Chorale
Master Chorale
The Master Chorale is a group for advanced singers who love working on a cappella music. The Master Chorale, under the direction of Mr. Michael Hernandez, is a more intimate auditioned ensemble composed of 16-24 members. Master Chorale focuses on chamber works and other advanced repertoire.
2024-25 Tuition: Participants in the Master Chorale also sing in the Large Chorale. Singers who sing in more than one adult ensemble only pay $150 per semester or $300 for the year.
We don’t want to exclude singers because finances. We have a scholarship fund to help with tuition and concert costumes. There will be an opportunity to confidentially share this need in your Singer Registration Form.
Rehearsals: Singers will sing with the Stockton Chorale at 7:00 pm and stay until 9:30 pm.

Health and Wellness Policy for ALL Groups:
COVID-19 still presents health challenges to our community, especially among singers where airborne atomized particles are present. In following the guidelines of the CDC, please note the following revisions and expectations for the health and welfare of all members.
- Proof of vaccination is no longer required. We strongly recommend all singers be vaccinated and schedule the appropriate boosters according to public health guidelines.
- Mask wearing at rehearsals and performances remain optional unless you are recovering from COVID 19. Masks will be available at each rehearsal.
- All singers shall rigorously apply the Self-Attestation requirements prior to each rehearsal and/or performance.
- If you are sick, stay home. COVID 19, influenza, RSV share many of the symptoms of the common cold: When in doubt, stay out.
- Many health insurance programs still provide COVID-19 tests free of charge. If you have a cold, we recommend you take a COVID 19 home test to confirm you do not have COVID, and stay home until your symptoms improve.
- If you test positive for COVID, you must inform the Chorale Office so the appropriate group(s) can be notified.
- Hand sanitizer must be used prior to entering the rehearsal or performance venue.
- The Stockton Chorale shall comply with infectious disease requirements of rehearsal or performance venues.
